You know what really pisses me off? This woman was out there helping sick children and spending time with them.

All of the people criticizing her didn't do that. They are sitting at home and criticizing her over something stupid through their keyboard while she's out there doing something good.

I'm sick and tired of people thinking their opinions make them virtuous. It's your ACTIONS that do. Your opinion or hashtag or profile pic overlay doesn't mean jack shite. It doesn't help anything. Going out there and doing something is what matters. And this woman was out there making a difference and she gets shite for it by people who haven't done a damn thing.

frick those assholes.

She doesn't seem to be too concerned with the fake media outrage with her gloved hand in her mouth.

I swear people who are miserable will always find a way to see negativity in anything. I bet all they horrified people never lifted a finger to help anyone with HIV or anyone for that matter.

Maybe she was just being cautious of their immune system. Doesn't seem far fetched IMO.

I'm gonna tell the safety guy that PPE is racist and I will no longer take part in it's institutional and systemic oppression.

When I was in school, I was told the scenarios in which PPE was required and for other, more mundane situations to wear the level of PPE that made you feel comfortable. Education is the most important PPE.

As for AIDS patients, I wear gloves as well. Sometimes they have lesions that I don't want to touch with my bare hands, regardless of the fact that I more than likely will not be infected with anything from them. And with children, they might be drooling or have scabs on their knees. Typical child stuff. Don't want that on my bare hands either.

If they have HIV, their immune systems are very weak. She probably just didn't want to spread anything to them because if she did and they died because of it, she'd be getting slammed for that too

Bingo. But rational thoughts continue to be difficult for the room temperature IQs of social media.

It just blows my mind that people would go off because someone decided to exercise caution.

However, like I said before, the fact that she's eating with gloves on is a huge facepalm.
