CNN: Miranda Lambert reads Maranda Rights to group of diverse women. Lambert showed what appears to be a sign of RACISM

Does someone taking a picture really take anything away from the show? They weren't obstructing anyone's view. The weren't stopping anyone from hearing the music... What exactly is the problem here?

I’ve heard multiple musicians make comments about it. I don’t exactly mind when people do it although I think it’s dumb. But if it is distracting the people you paid to see, I think it’s fair to put it away. I don’t really think they should have to be told. “No flash photography” used to be a pretty common message and stipulation of any concert, I think they used to print it on tickets. They should just do something like that if the artist cares.

Why view the concert through your phone if you paid $750 to be there?

They didn’t. They took some group pics.

I have been to 5 concerts in the last month and I have 1 photo of each concert. I actually attend the concert and listen/watch instead of watching through my phone.

I take less than a dozen and maybe a video or two, but that's plenty.

This seems like a wannabe diva acting the bitch, though.

I don't even bring my phone into a concert bc it's a hassle for me. I frequently can't get a signal inside the arena anyway, which means I'd just be lugging it around to record performances if I were to carry one at all.

Screw that, I'll just watch the show, but no, I am not especially put off by the phones. You practically can't pry them out of young women's hands anyway lol.

Taking pictures with flashes going off when the lights are dimmed for a slow song is a dick move.

There is a rest of the story. See TMZ.they were using flashes. That wasn't in the video.

They film things on their phones that they probably will never watch, and in the process, they miss the actual concert with their face buried in their phone.

Our obsession with cell phones bothers me always, and being at a concert with every person taking a video is just sad.

I think if you grew up with that, it may not seem like a big deal. For those of us who were of concert going age pre cell phones, it's hard to even explain how awesome it is when the crowd is 100% present and jamming with the band.

No one is ever present. We can't just chill out an BE. Go to any beautiful beach, and people are sitting in their chairs scrolling their lives away instead of taking in the beauty of the ocean.

Everything is like this these days. The crowd before the final out of the national championship game was an embarrassment. Every single person had their phone out. It was an absolute “holy shite” moment when they showed this during the game.

Miranda should mind her own business. Those gals paid to be at her show and do whatever they want with their time. Entitlement is out of control.

How full of yourself do you have to be to demand the undivided attention of everybody in the audience, and chastise them when they don’t give it to you? Just play through your set, and tell a story or two, and let the audience do what they will. The amount of attention people give you depends on how entertaining you are as a performer.

Anyone else tired of staring at people’s phones

It shouldn't, but it does bother me tremendously to see people trying to video stuff that will forever be preserved forever from 5000 angles already, why they are there. You are there. Live in and enjoy the moment. Somebody else will have it filmed for you to relive it.

It's one of my peeves. Hopefully the next generation is better than mine is about enjoying life and not being so concerned with proving to all their friends they were somewhere.

Yep, that right there. I know it shouldn't, but damn it pissed me off.

You are there. Wtf are you filming? It's a moment that will be available to be viewed whenever forever from 103741 different perspectives.

Live it and enjoy it. ESPN is filming it.

Saw it on the news it was a cool selfie pic with Miranda up on stage in the middle. The ladies had seats in the front rows.
Bet she felt like an arse when she saw the pic on the news that they took.

It wasn’t even that loud after LSU won because no one could clap because they were all holding their phone.

Yep. Almost every year, we go out west to the mountains and hike, and we don’t pay attention to our phones at all. It’s so refreshing.
