LANSING, Mich. (AP) — A supervisor at a Michigan fiberglass factory who won a $310.5 million Powerball jackpot immediately quit her "nasty, dirty" job and will build houses for her family.

Julie Leach of Three Rivers said Tuesday she was having a "really bad night" working the third shift when she took her lunch break at McDonald's. She checked the five numbers in the drive-thru line.

I'm going to take care of my kids," Leach said. "I don't want them to have to work like I had to work and deal with the kinds of things I had to deal with over life. I just want to make it a good life for them, take care of them."

She took a one-time lump payment of $197.4 million, about $140 million after taxes.

My wife is from the northern part of the state, and it's the greatest place on earth.

Great to see a hardworking, blue collar American win this huge jackpot and immediately talk about creating a better life for her family.

Pretty sure that you have to come out with Powerball. It's part of the paperwork you sign when you claim the prize.

CAN I REMAIN ANONYMOUS WHEN I HIT THE JACKPOT?
All but five states (DE, KS, MD, ND, OH) have laws that require the lottery to release the name and city of residence to anyone who asks. Some states are considering anonymous claims. Some states are considering a one-year period of anonymity to give the winners time to get used to their new lifestyle. Other states may offer to assist you in some way, including such things as the creation of trusts. But generally, you will want to hire an attorney to review the laws in your state to see what options you might have. Photos and press conferences are up to you for most part, though some states add a requiremment for photos on their tickets. Check with your state lottery to see if photos or more are required. Most of the time, it is advisable to get it over with the press so that you don't have one or more reporters following you around to get that "exclusive" interview. Even if the you can keep your identity secret from the press and the public, you will have to be known to the lottery - so they can confirm that you are eligible to play and win.

The Williams Trust took home $16.7 million (before taxes) in 2013.

Last single LA winner was the H&N Family Partnership taking home $85.7 million (before taxes) in 2010.
