It's going to be cast iron if you build it from scratch.


A lot of people just repurpose old containers such as propane tanks.

Cast Iron is poured molten iron poured into a cast then cooled.

Contractors Salvage and Drum on Airline near Prescott.

Heavy duty steam cleaned 55 gallon drums and scrap metal.

Built my custom pit from there 25 years ago for $32.

Bayou Metal Supply is in Slidell but I believe they deliver that way.
