Metairie representing in La Dixie Youth state championship

My nephew's team just advanced to the Dixie Youth state finals in Shreveport. Lakeshore vs Pontiff. Either way a Metairie team is going to the Dixie Youth World Series.
Also, not a Brayden, Jayden, Aidan, or Kayden to be found on his team

Pretty sure they have to win their region (Southwest) after they win state to actually go to the LLWS.

They have to beat Lafayette twice tomorrow.
They’re on a hot streak. Beat Sulphur 22-0 last night. Beat SLC 9-2 tonight

My nephew is in the 9-10. And ya'll are right it's the Dixie Youth tournament. I'll correct the title.
The kids I know on the team are: Charlie, Jack, Luke, Rob, Evan, Graham, Patrick and Harrison. No "...den's" on the roster. 70005 isn't trashy. Y'all thinking of 70003

I just looked it up, and it will be held this year but only with teams from the US.
That sucks for all the international kids who will age out of the chance to play in the (at least) two years the LLWS hasn't been played as it usually is.

I don't. My brother-in-law texted me about them winning the regional. I mistook Dixie Youth for Little League...I corrected my title. I'll be rooting for Eastbank in the Little League tournament
