I don't understand all the people in here saying you couldn't hear the shots in another house.
Each victim had multiple wounds.
That's five consecutive shots at minimum.
Five or six gunshots go off in your next door neighbors house you're gonna hear that shite.

I would vote on random. My elderly aunt and uncle were home invaded a few years ago in Old Metairie.
One of the perps made the caretaker go to the bank to get $ while they held my uncle at gunpoint, then stole and burned both of their cars. Aunt was in a downstairs bedroom and slept through the whole thing.
Nothing drug related, just a random act and the dudes had done other invasions within a few weeks of this one.

Not saying this was the case here but in our time, there's a big difference between a drug house and teenagers up to young adults with a trivial amount of weed for recreational stay at home use.
