I scanned the first few pages and didn't see this. This piece of crap needs to be put in a room with the families of the officers killed here with his arms and feet tied together.

no they didn't. Only Congress can get rid of mandatory minimums. Where there is prosecutorial discretion the DOJ can implement policy, but mandatory minimums are in the US Code.

the reality is that most Tyrones or anyone else arrested for selling crack usually get arrested multiple times for multiple charges and still end up on the street until they kill someone. Maybe we need to stick with the mandatory sentencing more often.
