Need recommendations for best electric razor. My face doesn't like the regular mach 3 type razors. I've never used the razors with the 3 heads etc. What's the best thing on the market for a dry shave, electric.

Before you write off a regular razor, have you tried a safety razor?

You do have to be more careful with it than the gillette types, but it doesn't shave as close if that's what's causing your problems.

And use aloe vera on your neck and even face after a shave, nothing else.

Lumberjack boys... I definitely feel like the mach 3 type razors shave too close and that's the problem. As the hair tries to grow back out I get inflammation on soon

I actually get worse razor burn from safety razors. I have the Futur. Have tried a million different types of blades too. The green 7 o'clock do the least damage in my case.

I used to get razor burns every shave until I switched to using aloe vera about 15 years ago.

Now I only get them if I go 3 or 4 days without shaving. Still goes away in a few hours with aloe though.

I had an electric razor for a time and it gave me a lot worse razor burn than a regular razor. If you are having ingrown hairs, etc. I would try shaving with the growth of hair (not against) and ensure that you only cover an area of your face once each shave.

Braun Series 7 with self cleaning station. Use Lectric Shave pre shave.

Ok, when you say aloe Vera, do you mean straight from the plant? Or like a lotion with aloe Vera in it?

Be a man baw. Keep the shadow and just hit it with a no guard trim.

Unless you have a shitty patch beard. Then there's no hope for you.

Use a hot towel over your face a few minutes before shaving. Had that same problem about 30 years ago.

If I'm clean shaving I prefer a safety razor. I breakout if I use mutli bladed razors. If I'm keeping a short beard Phillips makes a razor with a built in vacumn that catches 95% of the hair. Idk how I lived so long without it

Safety razor is superior to any other shaving method if you have trouble w razor burn/irritation. I used to get razor burn using the multi blade razors but I think that had a lot to do w not paying attention to my technique. Wash your face, use decent shaving cream, safety razor starting w the growth of your hair, and an aloe based alcohol free aftershave. I never get razor burn. I bought 100 blade pack of feather blades for $26 that will last me over 2 yrs.
