I'm not sure why the Upton defenders are so vested in her being considered the standard by which all other women are measured. She's good looking but nowhere near 'THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON EARTH'. She has a weird body shape with absolutely no muscle tone. She has a very noticeable mole above her lip which I personally find very unattractive.
With all the overhype she gets, she is the Derek Jeter of models.

Kate Upton is a MODEL !
Like any model, in order to look her best, she needs the right make-up, lighting, camera, setting and probably lots of other implementations to make her look like "Kate Upton the Super-Gorgeous".
Some women look perfect in just about any setting or situation. Kate Upton is not one of them.
What are her strengths? Her lovely face and her impressive chest.
Her problem is that once we move away from her strengths, we have a problem. That problem is caused by her WEAKNESSES, which are found in other parts of her body, which are not terrible, but, they do approach what I would call "average".
