You know how uppity women can get even when you're paying for everything?

Now just imagine them being the main breadwinner of the household.

She blew a bunch of money from her trust fund after we separated but before the divorce and I got stuck with half the bill.

And she was super fricked in the head. Didn’t realize how bad until after we were married. Her and her family did a good job hiding all the dirty shite.

I got to sleep in a $50MM mansion on top of a ski mountain for a few months. Then she went back to NYC after I went on a two week bender and she didn't hear from me. Fun times.

Worked with a guy (dead now) who had a lifelong relationship (from college days to death at +70 years) with one of the Coke family daughters in Atlanta. As I remember, she loved him fully, without any doubts or hesitation and he always said he "couldn't be a nameless husband to a rich woman in a HUGE Atlanta mansion, stuffed to overflowing with art and antiques, with the job of carrying her luggage and driving her to uppity social events and being ignored when they got there". As I understood, she had real, top level OT money, with every upper-level thing ever mentioned on the OT, and a lot more. Her house in Atlanta had a staff of six.

Toward the end, he had a major heart issue, and she flew in from Atlanta to his home place in Podunk, AL to take care of him until he got back on his feet, about a month later. He still refused to move to Atlanta, but she still loved him. I went to his funeral, and she was there, in a lot more grief than most wives show if their husband dies.

It was one of the saddest relationships I ever knew. I think my friend really loved her, but he had been divorced for years (alcohol family breakup with kids), and I guess just couldn't accept the lifestyle level she had always existed in.

Really sad thing.

Attempted it once in college. Doomed from the start.

Didn't enjoy hearing about her family's island homes.

Didn't want to snort crap that I couldn't afford.

My great uncle was a fighter ace in WW2, married a rich girl upon returning and settled in a big house in San Diego upon his return.

Sounds like heaven right?

After her parents died she inherited $6M in a trust (bear in mind this was in the late 60’s). She then takes their two kids and leaves the country. For 5 years he has no idea where they are until one day she shows up announcing she’s broke and with a third kid. Apparently she’d bought a yacht and paid to have it driven (chef & all) all over the globe with her two kids and the mysterious bastard. He manages to have her institutionalized, and has to raise 3 kids (can’t get rid of the third since the other two are attached to it).

Somehow through it all he managed to start a trucking firm, put all 3 through college and retire a rich man, though he never remarried. Passed away last year at 99.

RIP Uncle Doug, you were a truly great man.

Sex was incredible. Zero inhibitions.

I decided I could not bring her around my kids due to the sexual nature of the relationship so I phased myself out. I could not respect her wearing any article of clothing.

It was fun for a while.

Sex was great.

I was a cop at the time and only made like 40k a year, she was a doctor.

It was cool until she tried to turn me into a housewife. “You can quit, stay home and play Xbox all day just have dinner ready and homework done when I get home.”

I bounced.

My BIL had a probation officer that literally only had the job because she was bored. She was attractive and came from old money. She loved my alcoholic BIL to death.

She told him if he would just quite drinking she'd marry him and take care of him the rest of his life.

He said no. He still has a Patek Philipe watch She bought him but it's on a velcro strap instead of the nice leather one it came with.

There is a little liberal bitch on another forum that is a house husband. He is so proud that he has time to read all day while his wife is at work.

Isn’t this the key method for welfare fraud?
