quote:

He walks humans for $7 a mile around the streets and park near his home, pioneering an alternative to dog walking that requires no leash, just an ability to walk, talk and, above all, listen.

quote:

“Need motivation to walk?” they ask from lamp posts. “Scared to walk alone at night? Don’t like walking alone at all? Don’t want people to see you walking alone and just assume you have no friends? Don’t like listening to music or podcasts but can’t walk alone in silence, forced to face thoughts of the unknown future, or your own insignificance in the ever expanding universe?”

saw a mini clip about him. Dude was walking with some smokeshows. Had your old gals and some weird ones too. Said he's lost like 8-10 lbs since he started doing it. Entrepreneurship at its finest.

It's actually a brilliant idea. There's a lot of elderly people who want nothing more than someone to talk to. If he can motivate them to walk (exercise) and is willing to engage in conversation or just provide company in silence...what's the problem?

I think it's great!

Not much different than most of these "personal trainers" at the chain gyms.

I'd honestly be more inclined to pay 7 bucks a mile to be able to walk with a cool golden retriever
