Mayor De Blasio Urges New Yorkers to Boycott Chick Fil A

What particular policy hateful is Chick Fil A forcing upon its employees? Maybe the day off on Sunday?
I'm curious to know what hateful policies Chick Fil A enforces on their employees.
The idea of a mayor encouraging his constituents to NOT support a growing business in his city is bananas. But this will have the opposite effect and the 4 NYC CFA locations will probably report record sales.
He's about 5 years late to this party.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and other city officials are urging New Yorkers not to eat at Chick fil-A.
The popular chicken restaurant is planning to open up a new location in Queens, its fourth to open in New York City.
But the liberal mayor argued that the owners of Chick fil-A support groups that promote "hate" against gays.
"Chick-fil-A is anti-LGBT," he said in a statement, according to the website DNAInfo. "This group imparts a strong anti-LGBT message by forcing their employees and volunteers to adhere to a policy that prohibits same-sex love. It is outrageous that Chick-fil-A is quietly spreading its message of hate by funding these types of organizations."
He went on to call for a boycott by New Yorkers. "I’m certainly not going to patronize them and I wouldn’t urge any other New Yorker to patronize them. But they do have a legal right," he said.
Chick-fil-A responded by pointing out that it has 80,000 employees of all different backgrounds and beliefs and prefers to focus on its food and service.
"The Chick-fil-A culture and service tradition in our restaurants is to treat every person with honor, dignity and respect — regardless of their beliefs, race, creed, sexual orientation or gender," a spokesperson said.
So what happened when Steve Doocy asked some diners at a Manhattan Chick-fil-A about Mayor de Blasio's remarks? One man, told of the boycott calls by Steve, said he's on Chick-fil-A's side. "That's what I'm gonna tell Trump. Keep God first and our kids will be fine," said Jeff.

Yeah it backfired last time and will backfire again.

If I ever chose to boycott an establishment it would be of my own free will, not because the mayor or anyone else encouraged it.

Lines gonna be around the block
And who the frick is some stuffed shirt limp dick mayor to tell me where the hell I should or shouldn't eat!?
I bet he doesn't tell New Yorkers not to patronize Muslim eateries. And they advocate actively stoning gays to death.

Chick Fil A tends to have more "flamboyant" employees than any other fast food chain that I have been to.

Politicians shouldn't encourage hate against private businesses and the practices that private businesses do as long as they aren't outright hurting the general public. This guy should be kicked out of office.

De Blasio is mentally ill. Much like most LWNJ's.

Their loss to be 100% honest.

I love Chick Fil-A and could not care less about their stances.
Sorry if I like prompt, friendly service and a restaurant never messing up my order

I've already eaten lunch, but I think I will make it a point to purchase some Chick Fil-A tomorrow.

Well since the last CFA boycott really hit their bottom line, I'm sure this will be just as successful.

Like anyone cares what some fricking yankee thinks up in NY.
Chick fil-A has a quality product and I'll eat there here and the next time I'm NY.
They're always bitching up there about having healthy fast food. Chick Fil A (at least) is a step in the correct direction.

I hope president Trump takes NYC away from DeBlasio.
