Not sure if you've considered a sleep number bed, but I've had one for years and it is by far the best sleep ive ever had. Worth every penny I paid for it 10-12 years ago.

I would go with the one that feels the most comfortable when you lay on it. Any pillow top is going to wear out after 5-7 years. For the price, you are getting a good nights sleep for ~$200 a year, or ~$17 a month.
If you want longevity, get a Tempur-Pedic. <-period.

Tried the, then, top of the line model 8 years ago, and I returned it within a week. Felt like sleeping on two twin air mattresses, with a hard spot in the middle. Slept on a newer model recently while out of town, that had the independent up and down motion, and still felt like two twin air mattresses with a hard spot in the middle.
Would definitely recommend trying before buying.
