For being smart and raising the price of one of the only AIDS meds on the market? I mean you may not agree with it, but if you own a market you can charge whatever the frick you want.

Business is business. I don't find him to be an awful person for raising the price of the drug despite the fact that I disagree with it. Part of having a capitalist economy means certain companies/individuals will do things that are wrong from the moral perspective of most people but certainly legal and rational from an economic perspective. So I think we are in agreement on that point.
I consider him to be awful because of the number of stories about him that make him just appear to be an arrogant and self-centered individual with little to know regard for anyone other than himself. I also find his constant desire to be always be in the spotlight, rarely in a positive manner mind you, pretty deplorable.

He's also to stand trial soon for defrauding a bunch of companies on his run to "success". So that's what kind of makes him an awful person. He stole millions from investors and jumped from company to company using funds he didn't have, all while lying about the amount of capital his company had.
