It probably was the strategic petroleum reserve a Weeks Island. It's been retired though due to a sink hole that formed in 1993. The commies have some old intel.
It's wiki but whatever. LINK
Lake Charles and Baton Rouge are also sites of strategic reserves.

BR also has Nuke plant and State caplital going for it.
BR is a legit target.

I'm in Zachary. Just how big are these bombs?
Posted on 6/18/14 at 7:29 am to GeauxxxTigers23
well, considering the plant is in St Francisville and there are multiple strikes in BR, id say youre fricked on all fronts

I just hope I go with the initial blast. Don't want to die in the fallout. That would suck.

BR was a first strike target because the ExxonMobil refinery was a major producer of jet fuel. Also because of I 10 bridge.
Mississippi Gulf Coast is a target because of Pascagoula (take out ship production)

I'll give them Memphis... for target practice.
What the heck do we have thats worth bombing? The ability to ship packages quickly from one place to another?

Looks like every major university town is a target.

It's not difficult to figure out targets.
Power/Communications
Refineries and Fuel Storage
Military/Retalitory Weaponry
Major Transportation Infrastructure (the ones at bridges/railroad bridges along the major rivers)
Government
Major Economic/Business (Most Major Cities)

Nuking the mouth of the Mississippi in in Port of New Orleans would royally frick our country up.
Like, really bad.
We lose the ability to use our biggest river that flows into the heart of our country and the radiation would flow into the gulf for decades.

No nukes targeted for Tuscaloosa. The Russkies know there's nothing worth bombing there
I take it you don't know where Tuscaloosa is.

I'm guessing those dots upriver from BR are River Bend and Big Cajun?
Yep. And they are really trying to hammer Cheyenne Mountain's arse.

I feel like Biloxi should have a more frequent strike pattern. Pretty big air base there. Also a port city.

I always had a feeling i'd retire in Canada

Why is New Roads and St Francisville even on the target list?
Are we anticipating very bad aim at ICBM's fired toward the Baton Rouge oil and gas works or is River Bend and some obsolete coal plant really that important?
Also what is so important in Memphis, St Louis, and in North Dakota? I'm disappointed that Tuscaloosa doesn't have a dozen targets on it.
