They do make a land cruiser. Sort of a nit picky thing to criticize.

Holt Street is Rayne's closest impersonation of Afghanistan.

It's kind of like the white van they were looking for with the DC sniper. If they can't even figure out what car the guy is driving, how are they going to find him?

Doesn't look so bad on google street view.

It must have been the lunch hour though because I saw some able bodied young men taking a break.

When I first joined the military and got to my initial base we had to play police for a month because our cops were short with all the deployments going on.

Was working a gate and there was a hit and run on base. Radioed into the vehicle, dark colored truck body type, GMC or something. 2 hours pass, no one has found the guy.

A truck starts to come to the gate, dark colored, not the correct make they radioed, not the correct color, both dark though. The truck also had front end damage matching where the other would have it.

Went into the guard shack to get a real cop to come talk to the guy as I assumed it was the truck. The cop blew it off, said nah, it doesn't match. Prodded him that he needed to come talk to the guy, it's close enough.

It was the truck, it was an off duty cop, arrested the guy etc. Next day the base commander comes down to the guard mount where everyone meets up in the morning and coins/recognizes the officer for his "vigilance". Dude never said shite about me.
