According to authorities, the shooting occurred in the 3000 block of Crestwood Street around 7:30 p.m. The male victim was transported to a local hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to authorities. His injuries appear to be life threatening at this time, according to Baton Rouge Police.

I checked Google maps and I didn't see any abandonded cars on the street, although there was one up on a jack stand. The review also revealed very few, if any streetlights in the area.
