They built that business together from the ground up, they both got old and he decided he deserved better and she deserved nothing.

You're not going (back) to jail because you got a divorce, you're going to jail because you are hiding assets and ignoring court orders.

In fairness, I think on a 90% dude board where some of our favorite stories are dudes getting fricked over, we tend to forget that in many/most of these situations, the female gets totally fricked over

I don't really mean in custody or property disputes (undoubtedly pro-female), I meant in the overall situation.

Here it sounds like the guy is just a piece of shite who selfishly hurt people around him, including his wife.

I'm not doubting the guy is a POS, but let's also be real here this is one article from her POV. Let's not act like she is all gravy and he is the only POS.

First off, if they truly "built the business together" then how on earth does she not have a better idea of where more money is? How on earth does she not have a better idea of their finances?

I completely understand when you have $10 mil plus its not that hard to hide some money, but if she doesn't have any idea where at least $5 mil is and this guy appears to be worth $30+ mil then she is a complete moron and frankly did not have any part of the business at all.

I'm not saying she deserves this or doesn't deserve money, I'm just saying that she shouldn't have been so ignorant of their finances for the past 10+ years and known where good chunks of money are.

They built the business together so of course she rightly deserves half. Many times you hear these stories and the guy and his business was already established so it's BS the woman gets half. That's not what happened here.
