Man Charged With Trying to Kill Mannequin

That's a whole new level of sucking at life
The unusual charge of attempted murder, but of a human decoy, was lodged Tuesday against Shane Allen Schindler at a hearing in which a justice of the peace ordered Schindler to undergo a mental competency evaluation.
Police say surveillance video shows Schindler creep up and hit the mannequin in the head, using two-handed swings of the 4-pound hammer.

Well, with OJ slated for parole this summer they gotta get a young guy into the pipeline to fill the prison industrial opening long term. Get the young to replace the elderly. OJ about to turn 70 and those old NFL injuries gotta be a strain on the med system, eating into profits.
It's a prison as business nation now. Gotta keep the "inventory" at max profit levels. Non violent, youthful (healthy), inventory is in the best interests for the prison investors. In lieu of non-violent settle for young.

I always find it funny when the DA relies on mens rea to secure one conviction while arguing it shouldn't be required in the next.
