This is pretty ridiculous. I get people are upset, but things aren't better around the globe. Especially for women. They really have no room to talk.

I'm always tempted to invite these people to listen to the stories of some of the ESL students I've worked with that came from parts of Africa, Korea, etc. One of our kids from Kenya told the story about how his family lived in a cave for close to 6 months because their own government's military came in and raided their village and killed a good portion of his family. But he also told the story that the first time he felt truly safe was living here, even if it was in a lower-end apartment with his family working lower-waged jobs to get by until his Dad and Mom could finish community college.
Yeah, that doesn't necessarily lessen our issues but this Anti-American shite is getting to be a bit fricking much. Maybe we need to start an #AppreciateAmericaAgain movement.
