One if my biggest fears of living in a complex.

Me too. I wonder when those apartments were built. Livingston didn't have any building permits or inspections until ten or twelve years ago.

Not sure. I do remember when researching to move in here a little over a year ago reading that they sustained heavy fire damage around 05-06 to some units and that they had rebuilt those. Didn't think anything of it as obviously a fire could happen anywhere. I would think everything is up to code, as they were just inspecting units and testing the fire alarm system about 3 weeks ago throughout the whole complex. Not sure what the reasoning behind it was. It seemed pretty routine, but I hadn't noticed them do that before in the previous 14 or so months

Here is video I took, sorry forgot to turn my phone...I didn't think about it. Also, its really hard to get decent quality video of fire when its very dark outside.
Just something I learned today

I live there as well. 3 buildingds down.

Been there since August.

We had a smaller fire in another building not too long ago.

This one was bad. When I went outside at 5:20 this morning the sky was black... I thought it was real foggy at first until I heard the fire sirens.

I have not heard either way, if anyone was hurt or not.

They don't require fire walls in apartments over there?

Hi neighbor.

Yea it was very scary, was sitting on my patio up late and thought it was a big cloud forming low over the lake, kept an eye on it and it was clear that it was smoke.

Went downstairs and could see light coming from behind it and 911 knew about it already when called. Heard this morning at about 430 that they're "not aware" of any injuries...hope not.

Red cross out this morning and an Investigation getting into gear

Just makes me curious if they must have known something was going on with as much as they had been testing the sprinkler s and alarms the past month.

This morning, didn't get a great pic

I took a similar pic this morning of the back.

I haven't heard any updates.

Do you know if anyone was injured?

Still not sure what caused the fire.

Rumors floating around that it all started with a grill.... but they don't know that for sure.
