Mail order and Station Wagons, what uncool things are cool again

Funny how uncool things got reinvented. No one in the 90's would shop mail order or buy a station wagon. Those were vestiges of the 70's and 80's.
Mail Order=Amazon
Station Wagons=crossover vehicles
My youngest brother just got married, and he bought a Winnebago that he and his wife can travel in for the next year touring the US.
I think it's time for a remake, the new generation will be able to relate.

to be honest, i would buy a true station wagon long before buying an suv. the station wagon was beter made and had better power, more interior room, and way more visibility all the way around

These were hyper cool in the 90s, and called tourings, not station wagons.

They'd probably get shot before they got out of Chicago in the remake. Would be a short movie.

Buddy of mine drove this in high school. We called it The Beast. You could power brake that thing and burn the tires right off of it. Not sure how we survived. He ended up killing it one night taking it off roading.

If you're a card carrying lesbian and don't drive a Subaru Outback, you're out of the club. No pussy for you!

Minivans and suburbans took the place of station wagon in 90s. Concept hasn’t went away.

There was an Albert Brooks movie in the eighties about this called Lost In America. They made it as far as Vegas and lost the RV gambling. Grandpa Munster played the casino executive.
I thought there had already been a Vacation remake.

You can no longer use the words Nest or Egg.....When you look up at a tree, you say - That Bird Lives In A Round Stick".

The 90's were the height of catalogs arriving in the mail. Online shopping was just starting.
