Nov 16 (Reuters) - An earthquake of magnitude 5.3 struck western Texas on Wednesday, some 45 km (27.96 miles) from the town of Pecos, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said.

The quake was at a depth of 2 km (1.24 miles), EMSC added.

This was about 30 minutes ago. Felt in Hobbs and Carlsbad, according to a couple oilfield baws.

Looks like the 5.3 magnitude is the third largest in the West TX area over the past 90-100 years.

Was either felt in Dallas or an additional small quake hit Dallas about the same time.

That was in Mentone. Someone just put too many jalapeños on their Skeet burger.

Did he get caught? Dude was on the take and everyone knew it. I haven’t been out there in a few years.

Eta googled it. Wow. Stealing cattle isn’t what I figured would get him.
