To be fair, she shouldn’t have willingly got drunk. She should’ve been assertive in telling them that she didn’t want to drink, but she didn’t. She went along with them. And now the defense is going to paint her as a slut who consented to sex with strangers.
Parents need to do a better job of teaching their kids not to give into peer pressure, and to avoid getting involved in risky situations. The culture of sorority girls in southern schools revolves heavily around partying and being promiscuous, way more so than any other region in the country. That has to change. People can deny that all they want but it’s true.

Bingo. They are going to go with the “nuts and sluts” defense to justify four a-holes raping a chick so drunk she damn near had alcohol poisoning.
Yep. Lawyers are complete scum

I don't remember the facts specifically, but I think the driver said he thought he saw them having sex, but I'm not sure if the 2 accused of doing the actual rape ever admitted to it.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there an issue with lack of DNA evidence showing that they had sex/raped her?
Is that for all, or some of them?

ISWYDT.
Quite literally, she ran to those scumbags.
First:
I am not victim blaming
Second:
Downvote for crassness and speaking ill of a dead girl, but Meaujeaux isn’t wrong: she did essentially run into their arms. Her death ought serve as a dire warning by parents to their daughters especially(and also sons) about associating with the wrong crowd, as well as the potential consequences of drinking to such excess.

I’d love to know how you came to this conclusion. Have you conducted studies in every corner of the country? Have you lived on multiple campuses?
What kind of data did you pull or what kind of numbers did you dig up to come to your conclusion? Or were you just talking out of your arse? I’m genuinely curious

You are completely ignorant on the facts of the case.

I’m not making it up. Sorority girls at southern schools like Alabama and LSU are generally more wild than your average sorority from a school like Syracuse. Sure I’m stereotyping, but stereotypes don’t come out of nowhere for no reason.

Everyone knows the students at Penn State and Ohio State don't have sex.

Yeah, it’s just the coaches and the kids who visit

So you’re making it up, thanks for proving my point

It has been a bit since I've been a college student, but I have a hard time believing that banging multiple guys in the same car is a common cultural occurrence for sorority girls in the South.

Jason, if some dudes try to convince you to rape a black-out drunk chick, dont do it.
