Noice. I'm keeping it cheap-ish for now. Gonna have a lot of stuff I want to buy for the new house, but need to do it slowly.

My smoker is the Green Mountain Grill pellet smoker and it's pure heaven when I smoke. It's sort of a lazy man's smoker because it self regulates the temp but anything I smoke comes out pretty much perfect.

I'm going to build a controller for my Weber. Just some duct, a flange, fan, thermocouple, and the control unit. Less than $80.

love the concept, but it loses a good bit in size reduction translation. becomes much more difficult to regulate temperature, especially as weather temps drop below 60 degrees. the pit heat just leave through the vent system at an alarming pace

not only don't we have a microwave and oven (circuit board out), but the stove at the rental house went out as well...

It's easy to lose heat at those temps and I definitely burn through a lot more pellets when cooking or smoking in that temp range.
