I preferred the Paradise Bakery...they gave you a free cookie with your meal. Panera does not(cheap bastards).

Their turkey chili is decent though

My mom wants to go watch some spring training games and I just can't see the point. Maybe if I lived there but if I have to fly either way I'll wait til the season starts instead of watching practice.

What I don't get is that people actually pay to go watch, what is pretty much practice. Hey, that's good for the teams if people will pay to go watch them play BS games that don't count, but that idea is crazy to me.

Spring training season here is a lot of fun though. Just being able to cheaply watch games between all the various teams is cool. I'm going the first day of spring training to watch Dbacks play the Rockies....$11 for lawn seats. Gonna bring a blanket, sit, drink, enjoy the sunshine, and watch some baseball. I've also bought tickets right behind home plate for like $30.

It's just a fun environment here. Many of the bars/restaurants do specials for spring training. Just one big party atmosphere for a month.
