For a minute or 7, I was going to be sent home from work today bc our census dropped and I got vv excited bc the sun is out now.

I can remember that feeling.

Still loving my nurse desk job. Especially now that we have been given the green light to work from home one day a week

I think I’ll always love the bedside. Even post-covid when family members are at all time high levels of assholery.

But I’d sure have loved to go home and lay out by the pool and day drink today.

I get on my computer and work

You realize I haven’t been a bedside nurse for 7 years now?? My job is mostly an office job with some on site required inspections I have to take part in.

In prepping to take my certification exam for infection control this fall. Most people fail the first time they sit for the exam. No pressure at all

I took the Certified Emergency Nurse exam in 2004. I’ve maintained it for 20 consecutive years. I NEVER want to take that exam again.

I passed it on the first attempt - and like your exam- most ppl don’t.

I am sure you’ll do vv well!

Chicken Flautas. Tried out a new Mexican restaurant near the house and it was good.

ETA: I think I could even walk to this place next time. I'll have to see.

nah, we have no issue with dogs, unless it's the yappy little dust mop type dogs, it's cats that we don't dig
