I didn't realize this jeep wave thing was a thing. I googled and found a whole website dedicated to it.

The old Land Cruisers are rock-solid little tanks but are about the roughest riding vehicle I've ever ridden in.

So does my husband. His parents had an early 80s one and growing up he always thought he would get to have it once he got his driver's license.

His dad sold it a year before that (to some guy who flew from Texas to buy it for his teenage son no less). I think he still holds a tiny grudge over it.

They are very cool. Plus, they are Toyotas and run so much better than any American made vehicle from that time. Jeep or Bronco.

my dad decided to drop a 2002 Mustang 302 in the above one when I was a sophomore and my brother was a junior

Somehow it made it through both of us and my cousin

Like I said I was extremely lucky. Had surgery last Monday morning. Titanium all in eye floor and mesh in sinuses. Broke my jaw by the hinge and it's titanium played as well. Swelling is all gone and bruising almost gone. Just hope my teeth are all good. Had a crown on that side that sensitive to cold now.
Appreciate the hopes and prayers nurse.
