This happened to that race baiting writer? The one that saw a "noose" in a tree that was a phone cable?

LOL

Says she's a Daily Reveille columnist.

I hope it's not, but what if it's in some way done on purpose so she can write a column about it for the paper....

This is the same girl that cried racism over the "noose" in the LSU tree that was a wire that had come loose, and is constantly publishing race-baiting articles in the LSU paper.

Thought the name was familiar. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

F. King Alexander and Mitch Landrieu need to stop worrying about SJWs and get some real problems

the whole "call yourself a king/queen" is DEFINITELY a part of black culture

Why I Kinda, Sorta Hate It When Black People Call Other Black People “King” And “Queen”

quote:

Now, the idea that we (Black people) descended from royalty isn’t an uncommon one. It’s a popular reference, found in countless songs, texts, and speeches as an understandably empowering juxtaposition to how Black Americans have historically been portrayed here. So popular is this reference, in fact, that many of us use “king” and “queen” as pronouns. It also has some historical merit, because there were actually kingdoms with kings and queens and unfathomable wealth. But this — both the reference to descending from kings and queens and being referred to as “king” — has always (always!) bothered the piss out of me.

5 Phrases Black People Must Abolish If We Are Ever To Get Ahead.

quote:

5. "We Are Descendants Of Kings And Queens!" - Ahh, my favorite all-time HBCU Negro Motivational Talking Point, and one that I still occasionally hear on talk radio, at church, and even to motivate AAU youth basketball teams (no, seriously, this one coach actually used that line!) today. Folks, we need to keep it one hunned: most of the people who left Goree island were not descendants of royalty. It it mathematically impossible. Reality is, many of us are descendants of weed heads, janitors, and "ladies of the night". And there is nothing wrong with that. But continuing the fallacy that we are all the spawn of throne dwellers is intellectually dishonest. Admit it: if your genealogy report came back, and you discovered you weren't a descendant of a Kaing, but instead a descendant of the ancient Nigerian version of Gucci Mane, would you be devastated, or somewhat relieved? Putting outlandish standards out there for folks to live up to creates unrealistic expectations that none of us can live up to. Who needs to carry that sorta weight? Create your own legacy, even if that legacy means yelling the phrase "Brrr! Brrr!" every 10 seconds.

Seeing her past articles, would not surprise me if she did this to stir up shite on campus.

Unless there's a super smart racist out there waiting for someone to cry wolf too many times so that he could have an opportunity for something like this....

well that discussion thread started with a legit question

quote:

is this a twitter thing? royalty?

and then this response (the one you responded to with an ad hom attack)

quote:

No, it's a wannabe uppity black thing.

now that wasn't the best answer ever in the history of mankind, but it wasn't wrong

certainly didn't deserve the vitriolic attack that you unleashed

Sweet Trinia sent this tweet:

@ClarkePerkins The racists left me alone after my oldest brother threatened to call his friends and start a riot with guns on campus

What a response by people calling for peace
