Wow that is sad. It's just not the natural order of things.....parents aren't supposed to bury their kids.

I'm the father of a 15 month old little girl. That is my absolute worst nightmare.

This is a tragedy and very sad, but why is the fact that she is a Kappa Kappa Gamma significant ?

Is that somehow supposed to make it even more tragic ?

Why not just say that a pair of college sweethearts died in a crash ?

I think OP was just trying to make it LSU related for this board.

Yes - it happened in Shreveport.

Yes they have to test. Hate to say it but this allows the other party (her family) additional ammunition if a suit is filed against the (possible) drunk drivers assets.

***Not saying the family is automatically going to file charges or anything. It's not going to bring their daughter back.

Someone got black balled...

But yes, like mentioned above. I was just tying it to LSU/Greek which I know a lot of posters like myself are or were involved with.

they may not, but the insurance companies might, when they start having to write checks and duke it out
ETA: file law suits,not charges

My daughter went through rush with Megan. They lived in Miller also. We were not related but share the same last name. Very tragic. A parents worst nightmare.

I can't even imagine. My last two years at LSU, we had 6 deaths in our fraternity, plus one sorority member killed in an auto accident with two of our guys. Alcohol was a factor in 4 of the deaths. In retrospect, I don't see how those parents even let us near the wakes/funerals, but it definitely was a different era.

Do you own a drilling company?

As in Mike Rogers Drilling Company?

Isn't it the 2nd one to die in a wreck this year on a residential street?

Robinson Place is a narrow little residential street. I don't understand how they could have been going fast enough to have this kind of catastrophic wreck.
