My dad would have body slammed me if I got into an argument with the assistant principal. Kid wouldn't have gotten body slammed if he didn't get up and try to run.

Officers should have mandatory extensive ongoing hand to hand combat at least twice a week.
And they should be ninjas too.

There is no need for this sentance. The author is trying to get readers to make conclusions based on this bit of info.
I recall when many were quick to point out how HUGE Michael Brown (Ferguson) and Tamir Rice (Cleveland) were.
Cops shot both. If you google Tamir Rice, the first "People Also Ask" is How big is Tamir Rice? Answer: The 12 year old was, per autopsy, 5 feet 7 inches and 195 pounds.
You'd think he was 6'6" from how much his huge size was emphasized by those who argued the shooting was justified.

You are exactly right. I am a teacher and the children have all the rights. I know both of these officers personally and now, once again, we are out of two police officers because of a bad child
Facts.
Teachers also at their will because of the flawed grading system of schools to determine how successful they are. The number of suspensions a school has is one thing that goes into their grade but has a negative effect on classroom management. The other is graduation rate some kids need to get their arse kicked out of school but instead they are given too many chances because again we dont want our grade to go down.

well, I am going to say this, No one on here has a clue except for a video. did anyone mention, this "kid" told other students he had a gun. reason "kip" was called in. They had the students moved to the gym to protect them in case he did have a gun. if you look at the teachers, they are all timid as can be. The kid knew why that cop came. he fought with him, the officer was trying to pull the booksack off the kid... THAT IS THE TRUTH

You are exactly right! Top priority of a school, is to keep ALL children safe.
