Yup. You need to lawyer up to try to sue in redhibition. Even "As IS " sales can sometimes be gotten around in louisiana under the right circumstances. The "three day" rule is definitely in your favor here.

There is no 3 day rule in Louisiana. it may be a dealership policy, but there is no state policy. once you've bought it, its yours.

You need to look up redhibition laws for Louisiana. One of the few things Louisiana is progressive on.

"As is" sales don't really protect the seller. He/she still has to make known any defects.
