Applicable to used vehicles?

3rd visit to a Ford dealer for an issue that causes my truck's transmission to stall. Issue is fixed after restarting vehicle until it randomly decides to mess up again. Dealer has not been able to successfully fix my issue, charging me for Labor as their fixes aren't covered by my extended warranty.

Will the lemon law cover this crap after a 4th unsuccessful visit?

Did you get a certified used car from a dealer? Was their a written warranty?

Don't think that there is a lemon law for used vehicles.

The frequency and severity of consumers' used-car problems has led some state legislatures to pass new laws. Currently, though, only six states — Connecticut, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico and New York — have used-car lemon laws on the books. The laws provide a statutory used-car warranty, often based upon the age or mileage of the vehicle. If the vehicle exhibits problems during the warranty period, the dealer gets a chance to repair them. If those fixes don't work after several tries, the dealer usually must either replace the car or refund the buyer's money.

Also, my tranny went out 2 months after I bought a Maxima. I ate the $3500 repair

Get an attorney or at least one to make a phone call or write a letter on your behalf. .the dealership will act differently from that point on.

Warranty valued at 3k wtf? It's valued at the price a sane person would pay for it.. That's not 3k

Immediately, had for 3 days and returned to dealer and they had it for 8 days for a "program reboot"

Obvious run around

Vehicle has been in and out of shop with no success. This is my third attempt to resolve the issue.
