I have nothing to add here..

But what a cool fricking thread. Seriously. The shite you find on the OT sometimes amazes me.

I need to go to bed for the game tomorrow... Like 10 pages ago

Yeah, screw the car idea. I like the pool and "man cave" idea. Put in a pool and a pool house. Make one of the rooms in the pool house a legit home theater/media room. 4k projector, nice screen, Dolby Atmos speaker setup, and some stadium seating. The whole family can enjoy the fruits of your sold cards for years.

Your best bet and probably most money will come from Hakes.com. They've been around 40+ year, deal in high end collectibles.

I actually got an emails from them yesterday, looking for cosignments.

Hakes is good for collectibles but there are a dozen other auction houses I'd go to for vintage sports cards. There are several auctions that deal ONLY in cards and the collectors know them.

Just a reminder for everyone who has the Honus Wagner card.

The man's full Christian name was Johannis, so, "Honus" rhymes with Johannis. The "Ho" in Honus has the same "o" sound as in the word "hot".

So, a good nickname would be "Hot Honus" because both "o" sounds would be the same.
