This is the same FBI that recently let a Colorado guy who at worst was on an FBI watchlist, and at best known friends with someone on an FBI watchlist, pass an FBI background check that allowed him to purchase the "assault rifle" he used to shoot up a grocery store.
This is the same FBI that sent a dozen or so agents to investigate a garage rope pull because an emotional racecar driver didn't know what it was.
Foiling attacks that they create shows the public that they can do their jobs.
Allowing attacks to occur shows the public that they are needed.
The alphabet agencies function solely to preserve and further their own existence.
