Lightning struck my Panasonic this past Thursday. I went to storage & got my old 42 inch Vizio. I bought it in 05' I think so it's close to 12 years old but I think I like this better than the newer Panasonic I've been using.

TVs are disposable in 2016. If you end up not liking it, just get something else and move that one to some lesser room.

Bought a 50" Samsung 4k Ultra HD smart TV recently from Best Buy and love it. It's on sale for $649 which is a great deal.

I was at Sams this weekend and they have 55 inch Insignia for $299. Various brands and sizes for cheap.
Also, you can take any ad you find (online or local) and Best Buy will match it.

If it's anything like mine i can understand why he kept it so long. Manufacturers are still to this day trying to duplicate what the GT series Panasonic plasma tvs produce.

The Vizio M series is one of the best rated 4K tv out.
I would not get a Vizio M-49. I bought one that lasted 3 months before the screen went out. They sent me a replacement that lasted 3 days before that screen went out. They then told me that it may have been a bad run on that size TV. So they sent me a 5- inch and i have not had a problem since.

You missed out... I bought two 50" Samsungs for $124 each. Sold those two and with the profits, bought two 60" Samsungs for $260 each.

Looking at the Vizios to start.
I have 3 Vizio TVs and haven't had an issue with any of them. Best way to shop is go to a store and look at the screens to find one you like best.

Some good sales going on right now. I just bought a Vizio 50" 4K HD Smart TV for $499 plus tax at BestBuy. Technology is getting cheaper.
