Looking at a new Accord with Honda Sensing

What is the impression, from current owners, of the sensing option? Worth the $$ or it's a pain in the rear?

The technology is pretty great. The road noise is still a problem.

Yeah, that is one issue I have with my current 08 Accord, I find myself turning up the radio to compensate for the road noise.

I bought my son a 16 4cyl EXL coupe with it back in Nov. The sensing features are ok but it does not include 2 things that I thought it would/did. Parking sensors and blind spot sensors. It has a camera on the passenger mirror that helps but no beepers to help with parking. The brake alert is a bit intrusive sometimes also but bearable.

Just bought my wife a '17 accord touring (since we live in a trailer home we can afford it). The touring has all of the sensing features, including proximity sensors (that beep, and show you which corner of car is approaching something). We like it so far.

V6/touring models do not have CVT.

It's a problem on our 2013 model. New tires help, but they don't completely correct it. The paint finish quality could be better also.
Other than that I have no complaints.

We've owned Hondas over the years, and they all had too much road noise. I saw some material in a car audio shop that sticks on to body panels and quites things. May be an option to address the issue.

That's a terrible solution to an unnecessary problem

If my future Accord presents this problem I will check on this material. I plan on keeping my next car a long time.

It really should not be a problem. It's been a Honda trait for decades. Just a hint of tire wear and it will sound like riding inside of a drum.

Got it for one of the Füts in a '16 model.
Wonderful. Would do again.
The child leaves it on all of the time.
Cool when driving on the Interstate.

If you buy a CVT you should and will be shot.

My coworker just bought one and got a great deal? I think he said sticker was 27,xxx and he got it for 23,xxx. Ended up with TTL being a little over 26K. 2017 model, 4cylinder with the sensors.

Do you which dealer he bought it from?
