Plus, there is only about three people on the OT that were in a frat.

I had two VASTLY different experiences in fraternities. I first attended Alabama, where I pledged at the same fraternity as all of my hometown friends. I am fairly certain that it is still 'top tier'. I had a wild fricking time, but I only stayed three semesters. I sat out of school for a year, then transferred to App State, where I continued to be a member of my original fraternity. Not that I was surprised (or disappointed), but the contrast between the two were staggering.

When you give bids to every kid who rushes thats definitely not making you a better frat. Pike still blows. Oh and having two fall pledge classes is weak too

I have several friends who are Pike at UF. Their house is has the best location on campus and they are actually a solid fraternity there. Pretty much every other chapter blows though.

Frats that are great at one school suck at another. Phi Delt sucks at LSU if they are even there anymore. At SMU and Ole Miss Phi Delt is top tier or so I was told years ago. For the record I am not a Phi Delt.

Yeah everyone knows this, but Pike pretty much universally sucks. Even my friends in the UF chapter acknowledge this, they hate it when kids from other chapters try to come by.

I would think that KA's outside of the South are filled with chodes (of a different sort).

A fat penis, technically, but usually as a synonym for douchebag, phaggot, etc.,

Wow, didn't see that one coming. Urban Dictionary has a literal fight going on over what it means.

I don't know where most of you got your fricking definitions for this word, but the Chode has nothing to do with a short or fat penis. It is a synonym of "taint" and "gooch". It is the area between your sac and your a-hole. Why would you create a definition for something that doesn't exist, you morons?

ULM pikes were pretty big back in the Tim McGraw pike days.

When Kappa Sigma got busted for hazing and nationals gutted the chapter, Pike moved right on in as the Alpha fraternity and even took the Sig house too.

This is true of most national fraternities honestly.
Everyone loves their fraternity and their ritual and history, and they should. The fact is though that if you went to a different school you probably would have joined a different Fraternity. Every chapter is different, and as a whole most national fraternities have more shitty chapters than good chapters

I will say that most Kappa Sigma chapters within the SEC (especially among the SEC West schools) seem to have a pretty decent non-douche element or at least it did back in the early 90's. I think for the most part, we look for pretty much the same qualities in pledges and that guy would fit in whether he was at Bama, LSU, Arkie, State, etc...

Not sure about our Yankee brothers though.

Yeah one of my best friends is a Beta at Clemson and he is always bitching about how much their SEC chapters suck.

Pike is decent at Bama. Probably like 7-10 range with like Theta Chi and Sigma Chi.

Also once you graduate you realize nobody cares what fraternity you were in. People do like to know if you were in one though
