Last week I drove from BR to the Indy Bowl, left for the heart of Dallas bowl, departed for the Sugar Bowl then returned to Dallas for the Cotton, then stopped in Frisco for the FCS championship. Finally headed to Mobile for the Godaddy bowl and was back at work in BR this morning. It was something I won't do again.

Charleston to Chicago.

It wasn't a terrible drive...got to go through Asheville, Knoxville, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. Made the drive more bearable approaching those towns. The scenery, other than the big towns, was pretty unbearable once I got through Kentucky.

Used to run pushboats and tugboats (well, only one at a time, usually). Over twenty years ago, I ran a pushboat from Mobile to NOLA with a loaded barge making about 4 knots by myself. That took over a day. There wasn't anywhere to stop along the way.

I hope the statute of limitations has run out on prosecuting this "youthful indiscretion".
