Who would you say is more valuable to their station than he is to Fox 8? He's done some really incredible work over the past 10 years. I'm sure he didn't leave WWL for just a few dollars.

Lee is most definitely the highest paid anchor in the Nola area, if not state. I hadn't seen anyone better than him. I'm sure his security detail costs Benson a shite ton a year just to keep him alive after the dirt he's dug up on folks in his career.

Because this is New Orleans. People like warm and friendly familiar faces. That is what gets you paid more. Yeah, Lee is familiar but he's still young. I'd say Sally and Eric are making more than him. Jim Henderson is probably making more than him.

Henderson works for Fox8 for like 30 minutes a week and only during football season. They probably gave him a very good salary for as little work as he does but he's basically just doing his Saints job but they're filming him.

Same here. Maybe a contract for that, but it would be paid over years.
I remember one of the Walton and Johnson guys lived in Eastover for a while. They probably pulled down the same.

225 had an article a few years ago that said WBRZ was then paying new kids out of college a whole $20,000.
