If you haven’t watched the righteous gemstones, I recently caught up on that and I love it.

Looking at some movies I've watched recently and I've been on a serious 90s kick.

Usual suspects, se7en, Leon the professional, 12 monkeys all within the last month.

Also memento and lucky number slevin. I'm so far behind

Thanks for suggesting that one. I've been wanting to watch it but forgot all about it. Just added it to my list.

I can’t like seven, no matter how many times I try. I’m not a Brad Pitt fan and Gwen is insufferable in it.

I haven’t seen 12 monkey. I should.

I haven’t seen memento in forever.

Love those 2.

Hasn't seen event horizon and I think I fell asleep on dances with wolves a couple of months ago. Going to add both of those as well. Thanks Hobo.

I’m worried he’ll land in the other camp on event horizon.

Are you in the house of 100 corpses is the superior zombie film like me?

Did either of y’all watch the OA? It is great and Jason Isaacs is wonderful in it.

Keep an open mind and just remember it was rushed and most of the movie the director wanted to make was cut and lost to the world

Event horizon is arguably the best top 20 films, ask Aspy

And Dances with Wolves is top 5 imo, I will fight you

Memento used to be one of my sister's favorite movies when I was younger. watched it because I remember being confused by it when I was younger and trying to watch it, so I gave it another go. Pretty good movie, imo.

I'm not too picky, for the most part. The first movies I really got into when I was old enough were things like Scarface, reservoir dogs, pulp fiction, etc. There were also the comedies like half baked and don't be a menace, so those types will always have a special place in my heart.

I haven’t seen dances, but I agree 100% on event horizon.

Imagine how good it could have been…

Did you actually watch sea fever? Because they just boarded the floating “abandoned” ship and went below deck and I got some serious event horizon vibes

I love Christopher Nolan. Thanks to him there are 3 superhero movies I’ll actually watch. I haven’t had the attention span lately to give Oppenheimer a try.

Damn, dances with wolves is that good? If I watch it and it's not top 5, I won't fight you but I will come here and write a sternly worded message about how horrible you were for recommending it.

I think event horizon may be a little more of what I've been looking for recently in regards to a movie. Looking at the reviews isn't too inspiring, though.

It is a VERY polarizing movie.

I consider it the outer space adaptation of sphere, which is my favorite chrichton book and a movie that I pretend doesn’t exist.

Oppenheimer was pretty good. I think it's a little over hyped though. Worth a watch one day when you get a chance and feel up to it, IMO.

I haven't seen sphere either.

Heard of the book but never read it.

Don’t watch it. Believe me.

You should read the book. Mine fell apart and I had to buy another one.

I know you aren’t counting the 3 true Batman movies in your

All these recommendations have me overwhelmed for what I'm going to watch tonight and tomorrow night. Really appreciate them.

Event horizon is to each their own but Dances with Wolves has Kevin Kostner, nuff said

Eta: event horizon has Sam Neill, who was top tier imo

Most of the Batmans are good with me.

I'm more talking about all the newer ones that have come out in the last 10 years or so. Can't say I've wanted to watch a single one of them. I went to the movies to watch one with a friend out here but I can't even remember which one that was now. I think it was a DC movie, but that's about all I can remember.
