I had a birthday celebration at Farrells in the Houston Galleria back in the late 70’s. Good times with my mom and dad and my aunt Betty and uncle Jim.

We definitely didn’t have those up in the mountains. Best we could do was Dairy Queen.

I can't believe every team I was pulling for tonight lost. I'm about to divorce sports again like I did after last weekend.

LSU baseball and SDSU and Iowa State basketball

And for good measure, the Astros lost too. FML

I don’t even know who is still in

And with the cal decision, I continue to be no contact with basketball.

At least y'all don't have to watch the horror show of a Matt McMahon coached team. I know the expectations are different at UK and LSU when it comes to basketball, but I swear MM has been one of the most incompetent coaches I've seen at LSU. The most sloppy basketball I've ever seen played in my 37 years of watching LSU basketball.

Did you find anything to watch on shudder?

Just started sea fever. Creature movie in the North Sea. We shall see…

I don’t think I have it in me for subtitles right now so that knocks a lot out. Though 2 movies I really liked and watched on other services that remind me of each other are on here now.

From black and a dark song. Super sad, which is the best way to make good horror.

it’s hit or miss, depending on the viewer

Hi hobo!!!

Late night with the devil was a fun ride. A sprinkling on Anton levey and a dash of bohemian grove. Glad I went while it was still in theaters. you should go see it.

This one seems fine so far, but I still have the subtitles on.

Pans labyrinth is beautiful. And sad… so right up my alley.

Did you ever watch when evil lurks?

Sea fever? Is that like a form of jungle fever?

Subtitles require a certain mood from me to watch things with them.

You have any good recommendations for a fan of thrillers? I don't watch many movies or shows but since i started watching Shogun, I've been searching for more things to watch.

Apparently something is going to infect the water supply in the boat.

Depends on your definition of thriller. Give me more examples as shogun has not peaked my interest even a tiny bit.

Hey Aspy, doing alright?

that actually sounds familiar but I’ll have to look it up. I’m currently watching “The legend of Bagger Vance”. A golf movie, Tyga would be proud

Hmmm, hold on, let me look at some movies I've watched recently.

I'm so far behind, I just watched the first season of the wire about a month or so ago.

What are some movies that you'd recommend, regardless of genre? Well, besides comedy. Love those but really in the mood for one.

I’m pretty good. You?

It’s the Argentinian movie that came out last year. So very, very good and a different take on possession. All practical effects too. Same people who did terrified, which was pretty good as well.

I LOVED when evil lurks. It’s worth the subtitles.

I’m probably a bad recommender

I like slow and sad.

I will say I finally got around to watching Donnie dark recently and I really liked it.

It’s Easter weekend so I need to do my yearly rewatch of life of Brian.

Hobo will probably give you better ideas. Just not bagger Vance…
