From what I hear from my nursing friends all over the U.S.....it's bad all over. Making many nurses I know leave the bedside for good. I got too many other major stressors in my life right now that I can't really control. I can at least control work related stress and just leave.

Well damn leave it to me to post something offensive after nurse posts something personal. Sorry to hear about that. My Gf had a friend out here that was 42 years old and told she would never have kids. Well she had one a year ago and #2 is in the oven so it can happen.

Oh I know women in their 40s have kids all the time now. I just don't want to. Remember that I have cared for a lot of kids with downs and genetic disorders at work. Makes me really anxious about getting pregnant in my 40s. And that I have two mentally challenged siblings as well. I will already be the one to care for them when my parents pass away one day.

My boobs are not big enough though for that job

Also...those jobs aren't the most secure right now. I didn't want to leave my hospital cause I'm part of a really solid retirement plan(basically a pension).

What does the family think about AZ? Has your sister found a job out there yet? I knew you said she worked at a retail place before and she liked it. Hope they are doing well.

Same here I got to keep my pension from when I was an hourly basically I was grandfathered in because all new employees including salary now just have more stock options with their 401k's. Only reason I may stay with this company even though I am topped out in my present postion. We shall see when my youngest comes off child support in 2 years.

They all seem to be doing ok. My dad is the one taking it the worst though. He's just overwhelmed though. Hopefully whenever we can find them permanent housing that will get better. I think maybe he needs some antianxiety meds as well. Every little thing continues to stress him out so much. I basically have to remind him all of the positives every single time I talk to him on the phone.

I'm gonna surprise him this week with a Garmin I bought for him to put in his vehicle. Hopefully that can help him not feel so lost out here when he's driving. Phoenix Metro is so big...pretty intimidating if you are only used to driving around BR.

My sister got a transfer with Walmart. She has been working a few weeks now and likes it so far. We are trying to see where they end up living at before we look for jobs for my brother and mom. But I know the grocery stores here would easily hire my brother as a bag boy(that's what he did in BR). I'll see about finding my mom a job at like a Ross or TJMaxx or Walgreens or something like that.

That's great. Although your dad may be stressed out just let him know you are all blessed to be together as a family. So glad they are all doing ok.

I don't know why but that kid struck a nerve with me. My drinking probably didn't help. I must give it to him, he managed to troll and puss off everyone on TD and SECr. He's almost a local celeb.

And don't worry he still posts. Kid can keep making alters and admin can't stop it.

My mom takes care of my grandfather my grandma passed in October. I kinda worry about my mom when he passes. She isn't in the greatest health. I guest this is the things we have to start thinking about as we get older.

That's what I keep reminding him. I'm gonna take them to do Christmas stuff around here as well. Hoping that will help(he loves Christmas). They happened to move here when it's the slowest season for real estate(even for mobile homes). So that really limits the listings...nothing that fits their criteria right now. So we just basically wait until something does pop up. It will all work out somehow though, just have to be patient.

Well if anything it sounds like you and the family will have a good Christmas together. Sounds like good things will happen for you next year. College grad, new job, hopefully family settles in.

Don't forget about trump too

2016 has been rough for alot of people especially Louisiana and people out here that lost their homes with the hurricane. I know Noho lost her mom also. Just be thankful for the good things we have also.
