This is an inspirational video about a guy living off the grid in Appalachia. If you have time, I encourage you to watch it. I'm certain it will make you sit back and think about the life you are living.

I know it's a long video but once you get into it you'll watch it all the way to the end, willingly. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Living off the grid can be easily done - live in a cardboard box.

You don’t need a million dollars to do nothing. Take a look at my cousin. He’s broke, don’t do shite.

Certainly did, inspired me to turn my AC down to 70 and enjoy the finer things in life.

Does he own the land? If so, he’s not off the grid.

Are you really living off the grid if you are making youtube videos?

I'm on the grid, but I'm out in BFE. From my house, I can't see a blade of grass or a building that doesn't belong to me.

I consider BFE to be where not only do you not have any ride sharing available but you can't even think about getting a pizza delivered. And frick a permit or inspection, if you want to build something then just fricking do it. It's wonderful. Walking outside to piss, smoking some stuff on the front porch, shooting a deer from one of your doorways, weapons all around the house strategically placed. I even built improved fighting positions, obstacles and some berms onmy property just for the frick of it.

Sounds wonderful. No deodorant, sleeping on hay bails because it’s too hot in your trailer, no running water, shitting in a hole in the ground with the shite not going anywhere. Oh and no pussy. At least not any you’d want. Sounds like the life!

Everyone pays property tax. Mine is peanuts because it's all ag land.

About 10-20 cents per year/acre. Sounds right but I could be wrong. It's cheap whatever it is.
