Yes, LOTS of sneaked in cell phones and some jails have signal blockers, some don't.

I guess not. I have a buddy who just got out the clink. He would text me whenever he got his hands on a phone. I think he was more bored than anything, and wanted any news from the outside world.

Prison would suck so bad. It's literally humans in cages let out a couple times a day like dogs in a pound.

Some jails will let prisoners have a tablet that's about 30-35 a week.
