We had a male Lion puncture a tire on our car in Bush(Busch) Gardens when I was a kid.40 years ago so it's kind of hazy but I can remember one of their guys putting the spare on and me waiting for a Lion to attack him.

It jumped on the roof of my Dad's new car and he was pissed.

I know I, as well as others, will be aware that lions are dangerous from this point forward. Thank you for saving our lives

Your response doesn't even make sense. I was showing a place where the lions are less threatening than some people are assuming they always are. I was corroborating what the two posters above me were saying about driving near lions in open vehicles.

Hey man don't you get it? You just think you know what you're talking about. This guy is trying to let us know that we only think lions are dangerous. But it's really that people are stupid. Never mind the fact that lions are highly intelligent, adaptable creatures. Of prey no less. We aren't qualified to assess the risk they pose. That's why he came here to clear it up. Glad he did too. We're all better off with his guidance.

You can walk through them without trouble if you carry a boom box playing "Sailing" by Christopher Cross. I did it and they went to sleep.

I went to this Lion Park about 3-4 years ago. It's pretty incredible.

You drive through in your own vehicle, with very little supervision. I'm guessing the tour guide was not employed by the park. Probably her personal guide.

There's also a lion petting zoo where you can pet lions up to 6 months old. Again, incredible.

It's a sweet park. Why they decided to leave the windows down is beyond me.

Simpson was also quoted as saying the lioness who attacked would not be euthanized, but might be relocated to an area away from public view.

The lion isn't going to be killed, but will it sleep tonight?

Guide/driver was not a park employee.

The real tragedy in this situation is that there aren't actual lions in this country to thin the stupid herd like there is in Africa.

There's a drive thru safari type place called wildlife safari in oregon. It has lions....you drive yourself in your own vehicle.

Of course, we kept the damn windows closed and the doors locked!
