That is one of the ugliest wheel designs I've ever seen.

Well shite they need to do something with the Navigator/Expedition. That body style hasn’t changed in almost 20 years. Not sure what the hell Ford was thinking there.

How high off the ground is this car with so many tiny steps?

You can tell Ford subs out exterior design to whoever does Range Rover.

Tesla doesn't already have the height of a huge SUV to start off with.

I think it looks great. This is a concept car. The gullwing doors aren't making it on the production model.

Do these cars ever actually end up being made?

In March 2008, Ford announced that it had agreed to sell its Jaguar and Land Rover operations to Tata Motors, and that the sale was expected to be completed by the end of the second quarter of 2008. On 2 June 2008, the sale to Tata Motors was completed by both parties.

I'd imagine Ford kept some of the Jaguar and Land Rover engineers around after the sale to Tata Motors.

A lot of them do, but they aren't exactly like the auto show concepts.

Probably pretty likely that the next navigator is very similar to this concept sans gullwing dooors.

I think I'll just pull my door shut thank you. Looks like it would take 30 minutes for that to close.
