If y’all are screwing other people —-go to counseling and work through it. Talk about everything, all issues , complaints , desires , etc. only way to know.

When she didn’t want to try and work it out and wouldn’t stop what she was doing.
I drew the line in the sand. She crossed it.
And in doing so probably saved me. It was a kinder cruelty

the OT is a great sounding board for important lives decisions like snacks or where to get ringtones

I tend to agree that staying in an unhappy marriage is not always best for the children.

When my daughter asked why daddy and I hated each other.

When you’ve improved your health and fitness, developed a social life away from her, and developed a vision and plan for your future. If she hasn’t responded favorably to any of that and you realize she brings you no value outside of being an income and/or a parent, then you tell her it’s over.

I agree, but never said stay in a loveless marriage. I said work it out. Don’t let a mistake or a series of mistakes ruin som many lives. Push and work through it.
My x-wife cheated, caught an STD, and tried to destroy my life to cover it up. I still did everything I could to salvage our 12 year marriage. To this day, that was nothing to the pain I have every single day I can’t be with my 3 amazing babies.

On the flip side, my parents were miserable when I was a kid and it made me and my siblings miserable with them.

This is your answer. I speak from experience. Haunts me every day.

If you have kids with her just deal with the bullshite as long as it isn't toxic. Work through the issues as long as you possibly can.

When my wife called me when I was with my girlfriend to tell me than I was kicked out of the house.
I kinda took that as a sign.
