I, like most men, have been an avid consumer of porn since the early days of the internet. Whenever I used to see people linking articles about how it can frick up your brain I always thought it was just Christian pseudoscience trying to cover the fact that they just didn't care for it. But the more I've thought about it I've started realizing that it has done some pretty serious damage to me. There are hardly any situations where I have no sexual thoughts or urges and my standard for how attractive my significant other needs to be has reached an absurd level. I honestly wish I wasn't attracted to the cartoonish physical features that chicks in porn have because it's not realistic and the girls that do look like that are usually dumb bimbos. I just wonder if even if I was able to wean myself off porn, is the damage already done? Anyone here have any success/failure stories? I'm not talking about nofap, as I've read that most doctors agree masturbation is beneficial. Just talking about porn.
