This is true. He lived with us when I was in middle school for a while and was always a cool dude. Sometimes I think he loves being different for the sake of being different though.
I used to get chapped when he would badmouth America when I was 15 or 16, but then I realized that people with his worldview don't ever end up making major international decisions and that eased my mind
